Questions you may have

Can sessions be in Spanish?

Yes. Sessions are available in English, Spanish, or a natural combination of both. You can use the language in which your thoughts and emotions feel most like your own.

Where are virtual services available?

Therazon is based in Edmonton and Alberta is the primary service area. Virtual work may also be considered for eligible adults located in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, or Nunavut. Eligibility, professional requirements, and insurance coverage are confirmed before booking and at each session; availability in another jurisdiction is not guaranteed.

Are appointments online or in person?

All appointments are currently 100% online. Therazon has no public clinical office. The published address is for business correspondence only, and no therapy sessions take place there. Any future in-person availability will be stated clearly.

What happens during the free consultation?

It is a 15-minute telephone or video conversation about what brings you in, whether the concern is within my scope, logistics, and fit. It is not a psychotherapy session and there is no obligation to book.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations, missed appointments, and arrivals more than 15 minutes late are charged the full session fee. One emergency late-cancellation waiver is available every six months. A session that begins late still ends at the original time.

What if technology fails?

We first try to reconnect or switch to telephone. If the problem is on my side and the session cannot continue, we reschedule the affected time at no charge. If the problem is on the client’s side and a telephone backup is not possible, the late-cancellation policy may apply.

How do privacy and neutrality work with couples or families?

The relationship or family unit—not one individual—is the client, and I do not take sides. Consent, records, communication outside sessions, confidentiality, and its limits are reviewed with everyone. Private safety screening may be required because joint psychotherapy is not appropriate when coercion or violence makes free and safe participation impossible.

Do you diagnose mental-health conditions?

No. Therazon does not provide psychological assessment or diagnosis, trauma-protocol treatment, crisis response, or forensic services. I work within my education, training, and competence and provide referrals when another service is more appropriate.
