Referral Circle for professional organisations

Referral Circle is a free professional referral and resource tool for Canadian mental-health practitioners. If you support a professional community, this page gives you a straightforward way to review it before deciding whether it belongs among your member resources.

What members can do

Members can describe a professional service need, refine the available search filters and review colleagues by recorded criteria. Profiles include clinical and practical information, with separate assessment details where applicable. Resources has a separate search for contributed supports and listings.

The platform explains differences between options and displays member-reported availability. Professionals must still confirm credentials, scope, fees and capacity independently. A match is not a guarantee of suitability or an appointment.

What participation involves

There is no fee to join or search and no paid placement in results. Clients do not register, provide records or confirm outcomes. A professional creates a profile, verifies their email and keeps their information current. Email verification does not independently certify credentials.

A simple review process

1. Read the quick-start guide and questions and answers.
2. Review the downloadable checklist, which is useful without joining.
3. If useful, request a short orientation using fictional examples.
4. Decide whether to share the public overview under your own resource-review policies.

Review without an endorsement commitment

An inquiry or orientation does not make your organisation a partner or imply endorsement. We will not use your name or logo as a supporter without permission. There is no requirement for a paid placement, reciprocal link or access to your membership list.

If an organisation chooses to run a small sharing pilot, the scope and any reporting should be agreed in advance. Reporting would be aggregate and subject to privacy limits. We do not provide member-level activity or client information to organisations.
